Description: This was a short ride my son to begin to explore the trails around Idaho City. It was a great ride with a maze of trails. Most of it was wide easy trails with a few narrow trails with a bit of a climb. There were a few places where it was very overgrown with trees and bushes. Some of the ride was on logging roads as found our way back to the beginning point. The GPS didn't record the first mile was not recorded, but we followed a similar route on the way back. We also back tracked about 2 miles when I lost my sense of direction and turned the wrong way.

Summary: Great short ride to give you a feel of the area. A fair amount of variety, lots of whoops, some nice single trail climbs and beautiful views.
