Description:  This was a long ride, but some great scenery. The Bonanza cemeteries were interesting. If you haven't taken a tour through the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge it is worth your time. The view from both Loon Creek Summit and Pinyon Peak is awesome. Unless you are into iron butt rides, I would take the road from each end and make it two rides. It is about 50 miles round trip to Pinyon Peak from Hwy 21.

Summary: This was a fun ride, however a bit too long on an uncomfortable seat. By the time I had ridden back to where my vehicle was parked it was 100 miles! I just purchased a gel seat for my DRZ400 and it was every bit as uncomfortable as the stock seat! (I called to return it today and ordered a new softer foam.) The scenery was beautiful and the view from the top of Pinyon Peak was worth the trip.
