Trail Creek is located on the West side of Pocatello. My wife, Marcella dropped my son and me off and picked us up just below Scout Mountain. Click on the push pins at the end of the trail for point to point driving directions. I'm not sure what happened to my GPS, but in the middle of the ride coming up Bell Marsh Creek it didn't track. I have over laid another track I had to fill in that area.

Google Map: (Click on pushpins to see pictures.)

(By clicking on the "View Larger Map"  it will open in a larger window in Google Maps. Then if you click on "View in Google Earth" located at the top right of the map you view it in Google Earth and get the full effect of a 3-D view in which you can turn and spin.)

Elevation Profile: (There were some glitches in the gps data between the 30 and 40 miles)

This is an over view of the whole ride. The pics are an eclectic assortment from many different rides. This particular ride was done with great speed and not much time to take pictures. It is a tradition for Mark and I to go for a ride on his birthday and I had a wedding to perform in the afternoon so we had to make it quick.

Summary:  This was a combination of trails that I have ridden over the last 20 years right close to Pocatello. If you are looking for some shorter rides you can ride up Corral Creek to Elk Meadows for a very nice ride; You can get to Midnight Creek by riding up City Creek right out of Pocatello, which is a much easier ride than going up Trail Creek. Valve House is a great ride for the less experienced and if you want a beautiful loop with a bit of a challenge you can ride from Good Enough Campground either direction around Bell Marsh and Morman Canyon. Riding up Crestline Cycle trail opens up all kinds of possibilities to ride.
