Robber's Roost, Boundary Trail
Level of Difficulty: 8 Advanced Intermediate --This ride had some petty gnarly places. Loose shale to climb, steep side hills, narrow single track, rocks to climb over, lots of roots on the Robber's Roost portion. The Boundary Trail is a nice wide 4-wheeler trail, although it does have quite a bit of rock on the East side.

This was a great ride. Hadn't been out in a couple months, so I was a bit rusty for this kind of climb. A friend I met through this site called me on Friday morning to ask if I was up to a ride. We had unsuccessfully tried to get a ride together and so it was nice to finally connect. We didn't unload until about 2 p.m. so when we got to Pebble Creek Ski I suggested we ride out on the pavement, since both of our bikes were street legal. Good thing we did as I had a meeting that night that I was almost late to as it was!

Summary: It was a good challenging ride. It has some great views with a mix of mostly forested and a bit of open trail. If you are an advanced intermediate rider and haven't taken this ride, I would put it on the must do list. The loop is only about 4 hours, a bit longer if you ride the rest of the Boundary Trail to the access trail we came up. I would discourage you if you are looking for a nice relaxing ride, however.
