Stinking Springs Creek, Leaning Fir Trail, Wolverine Trail, Hinckley Creek Rd, Coal Mine Trail, Burns Creek Trail, FS Rd #206
Level of Difficulty: From 3-8, Advanced Beginner to Advanced Intermediate. I would consider Stinking Springs to be 6-Middle Intermediate; Leaning Fir has alot of 3 but some 6 because of the loose rock; Wolverine is a 3 to 4, Trail #139 has some 8, but mostly 6 or 7; Hinkley Creek is a jeep trail, Coal Mine Canyon is a 7 as is Burns Creek.

Description: This is such a great ride for an intermediate rider and the Fall is such a perfect time with the dust down a bit from the Fall rains and the leaves changing colors. My friend, Ron, and I rode this beginning at the unloading point by Stinking Springs Trail to Leaning Fir over to Wolverine to #139 to Hinckley Creek Rd, down Coal Mine, down Burns Creek and back on FS Rd #206. It has a wonderful variety of trails some with a little change and others just beautful scenery.

Summary:  Good ride for an intermediate level rider. A lot of it is easy riding, but there are a few places where the loose rock, sharp switch backs, deep ruts and roots warrant a Level 8.
